Sunsara was born from a journey—one that began in the vibrant streets of Hoi An, Vietnam, and has now found its home in the soulful city of Cape Town.

I'm Dahna, the founder and designer behind the brand, and my passion lies in creating clothing that embodies movement, effortless luxury, and conscious living.

Inspired by my travels across Asia, South America, and Europe, my designs weave together the textures, colors, and stories I’ve encountered along the way.

Every piece is crafted from natural fibers such as bamboo and linen, with details like coconut shell buttons that honor the Earth. I’ve even brought 100% bamboo fabric back from Vietnam—a unique and rare textile in Cape Town.

Sustainability is at the core of Sunsara. We produce only in small batches to maintain our boutique essence and avoid mass production.

More than just fashion, Sunsara is about empowerment—our garments are handmade by skilled female tailors, and we ensure ethical trade practices that support them and their families.
